Reviews on Career in NLB and Market Research
I am a female degree holder from NUS and have been working in a stat board for close to 2years. I am thinking of a career switch as I don't see any growth in my current job.
I used to work part time as Data entry in Market Research companies like TNS, Synovate, Ipsos, etc. I found the field work interesting but do not have information in regards to the salary, growth, advancement etc.
I am also keen in Working in NLB but need more information.
Is anyone working in either area willing to share your knowledge?
Should you wish to share your experience working in any government sector, please feel free to do so too.
I'm open to suggestion. Thank you.

starting salary at market research agencies are rather low, but good to get some experience and then jump to client side after a couple of years. if you can get yourself into a big MNC (eg those fortune 500 types), your salary can rise pretty quickly and definitely much faster than your NLB peers.
