Working in MTI (Ministry of Trade and Industry)
Dear all
Is there anyone currently wking in MTI?
If yes, may I check how is the worklife balance there?
Am referring to the corporate services division side.
Any inputs are greatly welcomed!
Thanks in advance!

MTI is generally a fast-paced Ministry. I would think you'd need to be an efficient officer for the procurement role and of course, any prior experience in procurement in the public service will be beneficial. Whether or not there's work-life balance, it depends. If you're efficient and effective, you wouldn't need to always do OT or bring your work home over the weekends. If you're looking for a relaxed and lepak workplace, MTI is not the place for you. It's a place where you can learn a lot if you are hardworking enough.

Bumping this thread.
What's the current rate for fresh grads and expected increment & bonus for avg performers? Is the culture still very scholar centric and hard to get promoted for non-scholars?
