ok maybe i am not clear.
wat's the pay like for a senior analyst/enginner with 4 years of experience? |
~70k/year. IT in banks are moving away from Singapore and a lot of emplpyee are getting fired.
The job market is definitely tougher than usual because : 1)less positions available 2)hordes of people with relevant experience are now jobless and frantically looking for a job good luck! |
concur with PP.
now, IT and Finance are not good areas to be in. all being "rightshored" to India, Philippines. In fact, SG getting too expensive to a point that many European banks find it more sense to bring those services back to Europe, specifically Poland - closer to their timezone, perception that there is no language barrier. Not to mention you can hire a fresh grad in Krakow for SGD800. |

could not be an IT analyst. Some financial analyst I heard. |
According to MOM benchmarking tool on Benchmarking Tools
IT managers (e.g. computer & network ops mgr) in finance industry are paid about ~$10K median and $15K at 75% percentile. The figures are like 50% higher than other industries. If pay so high, every IT manager would all "chiong" to banks. What's the catch? Any insiders to share? |
