I would like to seek all of your advise on starting a career on IT audit. It seem like a small niche field to start my career on.

May i check how's the prospect of IT auditor in Singapore?

What are the pay package that i will be looking at?

good leh it audit, stable and decent job, compensation is better than IT technies, good career progression, and skills can be transferrable to non-it audit as well, though it takes some time to adjust. never lack of demand for it auditors.

pay package depends on your experience level. if you are starting out, accept whatever they offer you. starting pay for freshie is always low no matter how you look at it. but once you start to meet your KPIs, and perform well in performance reviews, your bonus and increment will start to climb exponentially.

Is IT Audit a job that high in demand? My friends in acct keep on complaining about account audit is an OT powerhouse. I would like to check does that applies to IT audit too?

Please do not join IT audit. I already know of 3 person who left after joining them last July 2013. It's a nightmare place and the nature of the work is terrible.

You won't learn much and it's an extremely boring job.

Try to aim for banks instead, if you can.

Thanks for the info. May i check what are the reasons that cause your friends to leave IT audit? Low Pay? Hectic work hour?

May i check which company they were in previously?
