Shell (non-engineering/technical roles)

Anyone knows what it is like working in Shell for a non-engineering position (e.g. Business Analyst, Finance Analyst, Trader, etc.)? What is the starting salary, bonus, career progression and exit opportunities for a local uni graduate like?

In addition, how many graduates does Shell take in per year?

Basically you will be facing people with the highest of honours. My friend went for the recruitment talk and he claim with a stone throw you will hit a person with first class honours.

Shell definitely a company to work for. Good job progression and they really take very good care of their employees. Their turn over rate is quite low, so won't expect yourself to exit the company unless someone is paying you higher. PAy wise I am not sure. Currently being offered a job at another oil major with the letter E. But do expect starting pay to be above 5k i guess.

The salary is in the 3k range. Definitely not 5k. But shell is a great program anyway so...
