Life in PA HQ, NYC or CDC
Hi guys, there is a thread on CC work but I like to know a bit more abt the work in PA HQ, NYC & CDC. Understand they are all part of the PA family. Thanks.

reckon NYC has the best environment.
|
Why do u say that? Is the turnover high in the CDCs? There are alway openings in career@gov.
|
management at NYC tend to be more open to new ideas.
think there are quite a few NYC employees in the FB group, maybe you can try asking - https://www.facebook.com/groups/119735201555/ |
Life as an assistant manager social assistance in CDC
Has anyone worked as the above position before? Is it really hectic other than seeing clients and processing financial assistance?

i work in the cdc. if u are interested in helping the financially needy eg listening to their probs and helping them apply for assistance, you will find the job meaningful and the pay is good. however, the caseload is high and clients can be demanding

I went to the interview for the position recently for social assistance assistant manager. But did not pass interview due to anxiety, despite my experience.

good luck to you
