Yes, STE side, I got promoted from E6 to M1. Been here almost 6-7 years (since I grad, 31 this year). From 48XX to 51XX, think im replacing those who quit, had few M1/M3 quit last year and earlier this year. See some of my friend in other stat boards their pay $6k+ make me feel damn sad.

is 65xx-67xx considered high or normal for M1?
was offered a role for assistant principal engineer

So disgusting.
I join as E6 4 years ago. Contract renewed twice. Just renewed 1 July 2020.
41 yo this year. My pay also from 48xx to 51xx.
U 31 yo have same pay as me 41 yo.
Quite disgusting.

Yes, it is high for an M1 new scheme - you are near the salary cap , if you're M1 drawing 6500 its around 6000 on the old scheme. You are mid 35-40 i'm guessing?

The range is big, because I am on the lower bound side and still young, the other fella might be in his mid to late 30s. Furthermore do take note that he is on the new scheme. While I am on the old scheme with many of the benefits pre-restructuring like AWS and other bonuses. So the range is probably much narrower than you think.

so normally what happen if you hit the salary cap for a rank? will you still get an increment or there is a wage freeze until the next rank?
