WOOH..., here comes a very strong "Malaysia" mentality ! do you know why Singapore is more advanced than Malaysia? if you have this mentality i think you should live in Malaysia, where they only hire labour workers from abroad and reject all foreign knowledge workers... no pr or citizenship to foreign talents....

Hi, 4300 is decent.
Probably would be more than what you are earning back home.
Rental, as long as you are not going for high-end apartments, should be affordable, say 800-1000 a month.
Transportation maybe 500pm,
Food about 500-800pm,
misc 500 pm
That would still leave you with a fair bit for savings or for repatriation. Go for the job!

Don't turn this forum into a policy discussion.
As an advanced society we should not be afraid of competition. Only with competition comes progress. Avoidance of competition is a myopic response to a much broader reality: The world is progressing. Move on!

this is the stupidest thing i've ever read.
You absolutely have no idea what you're talking about.
Singapore's prosperity does not even lie on the fundamentality of what you've said.
Even if Malaysia does do the opposite of what you've said - it doesn't make Malaysia anymore "advanced"

4300 sgd is a pretty good salary if you are coming from India.
If you are single , you can go for room rental from 800 onwards.
If you are bringing your family then 2bedroom rental starts from around 1900-2000 dollars onwards.
