i did not receive phone interview yet but receive the networking session email

I believe they are still working through the list of candidates who passed the online tests. Lets be patient and keep our fingers crossed =)

During my phone interview, I asked the HR about the networking event. Its independent of the recruitment process and it doesn't increase your chance of getting a job in OCBC.

Its merely an information session for all the applicants.

The wait is killing me. I have not received any rejection letter nor phone interview. I just receive the networking event invitation. Guess my hopes are pretty much shattered

Dont worry, it depends on when you completed the tests. I presume people who received the call early are those who have completed the tests last 2-3 weeks. They waitied for 2 weeks before they got the call. Apply for other jobs too.

Have been applying for a lot of jobs, only had 2 real interviews. Getting disheartened day by day. Seems liked it is so hard to find jobs in the finance industry.

hmmm.. HR called and ask for my availability before sending me an invitation with the date that i specified as available. She given me a few dates for me to choose, then 1 day after the call i receive the networking invitation.
