Consultant pathologist job

Trained in UK, I have been a consultant pathologist for about 3 years.

Before negotiating with my potential public hospital employer in Singapore, I would be grateful for any information on basic pay and allowances that I can expect.

Is it customary for the hospital to include airfares?

Any other advice would also be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

What is the package that they offer you?

Probably a basic package of $200-240k + ~$70k variable on average. Airfare, car, house allowance more up to individual negotiation.

That's very useful. Thanks.

Really? This page seems to suggest closer to $60k!

Hi, I am negotiating a specialist pathologist position in singapore and feel that they have low balled me in the first offer. Was wondering if you can give some insights into negotiating in Singapore? I am a US trained physician and looking to move to Singapore. Also wondering if you liked moving to Singapore and any comments on the work culture.
