Working at STB

Hi. Anyone here has any insight on how the working culture and pay in Singapore Tourism Board is like? Is this a company you would strongly recommend to join if given the opportunity?

I have friends who applied to that. I won't 'strongly' recommend ppl to apply if you do not have the passion to be in the tourism industry and it is likely to be difficult to transit to the private sector in the future. I heard that it is not as easy to get in though. There are several rounds of interviews.

Hi, I recently applied to STB for their Management Associate Programme. Would be great if anyone has insights to offer as regards the following:

- Interview process: I understand that there are 3 rounds of interviews. How long will the entire process take (i.e. from the first interview to the offer), and how rigorous are the interviews?

- Pay: 2nd Upper from Local Uni, did NS, 1-2 years of work experience

- Culture/Working Hours: Are the people friendly? Are the bosses good to work for? What are the working hours generally like?
