Same senario here. Went for interview early month of may and medical check up at the end of may. And last week they ask me to conduct drug and alcohol test again because they do nt have enough testing kit. Now still waiting for the medical results and package offer from them.

During interview i did ask the interviewer when is the next batch for operation tech and they said next intake will be on the month of july. So i guess soon? And i also did send them an email asking the status of the hiring process but to no reply.

Anyone have any positive updates on operation tech position?

Next intake confirm is in September. I went for medical in late May. However due to some issues with the A & D test, I need to re do the test.

For those who have yet to receive any offer package, pray hard to get your package.
I received mine within 3 days of finishing medical.

For those who have yet to hear anything find other job, dont waste time. Still in progress at exxon website can sorry to say fly kite lah.

You should have done and received those items.
Interview done in April
Medical done in May
Offer Package should be done in June (I accepted my offer before 14th June 2015 which was the closing date)
Conflict of Interest should be done in June after Offer tabled
Latest update is for the A & D test.
I think clinic screw up and many people have yet to go as the latest email they sent as

I went for interview in May, medical in June, now still waiting for offer package..Last week Exxon just reply me back via email saying they are still preparing the offer package...dont know why they are taking so long...anyway, congrats on securing your job offer.

Thanks bro. Dun wry lah. Just go for the re-test.

They should be tabling an offer soon. Who knows by mid this month they will offer you the package?

Don't worry too much lah and don't give up.

Apparently when I go clinic this morning most people have not done the drug test since Exxon has yet to top up the drug test kit to Drs Bain.

Heres my side of updates. Interview done on first week of may, medical done last week of may. Got called up from the clinic on last week of june to do re-do A & D as the are shortage and i did it on the same day they called.

Last fri receive a reply email from them telling me that my medical report and A&D test have just been finalized and both are cleared. And now they are working on my working offer package and will call once they get approval from the hiring manager on the package.

I really hope they can secure the package real soon as both of my friends got their first day at EM in this Aug..

You applied as process or operation tech.

Operation tech start date is confirm in Sept. Based on info frm Hr lah. Process I am not too sure. If not wrong, process is for chemical and polymer plants whereas the one for operation is refinery. If I am not mistaken.

Hope nothing goes wrong. Either way they might take slightly longer to table ur package if salary u ask is a bit high I suppose.

My friends that will be starting work on aug is as machinery or maintenance techinician. I applied for operation tech. Hmm since u say based from hr operation tech starts on sept, guess theres still hope. So you will be starting on sept?

Confirm got hope lah. No need worry too muc. Who knows we will meet in Sept? Wait awhile only man.. My gurss is just pray hard lah. They would be tabling an offer as soon as possible I suppose.

So most prolly will be give u offer within this month ler.

I really hope so for your positive information. I didnt really ask as im not close with them. But i heard one get 2.1k (nt local) another one 2.5k (local). Not sure true or not. I didnt ask about their shift nor allowance.

Anyone else got a confirmation date for the start of work already?

finally got the offer package after so many months...bad news is their offer is not attractive and even lower then what I am getting right now. (~6k lesser on annual pay)

Ask for a counteroffer and they say it's non-nego..I applying as an experienced tech( more than 3yrs). Somemore 1st few months on training no shift allowance. Really disappointed on the offer package.
