starting pay of Micron

Hi,

does anyone know what is the starting pay for Micron Engineer in fab 10?
this would be my first job. I'm a M.Sc student from NUS (expected this May), 1st semester GPA is 4.2/5.0.

read 12345's thread already, but still not sure if his case can apply to mine as well.

Try to go for 3.8k to cover up for the lack of bonus and benefit.

Yea. Think you should ask higher since you have a Master. The idea of no bonus really bugs me....

there is some sort of perf bonus, just that they have stopped paying it since the coy is making losses. should be back again once it starts returning to profit, but qn is when

btw, salary between singaporean and foreigners differs, since i'm a foreigner, then would you give me some information about the pay?

Lol. How are you gonna argue? Tell them that their business not doing well so they have to attract ppl to join them by offering higher salary? I think it is better to quote them your expected salary and let them consider if they wanna hire you for that price. If they desperately need ppl, they will be willing to pay I guess.

They might not offer you that high. Reason being, they dun really need a Master to do the engineer jobs ...they could just get any bachelor grads to do the job at few hundred dollars lower. Something to think about...
