Regarding corporate treasury as career path
I recently graduated with a finance degree, and highly interested in corporate treasury as a career direction.
looking more into middle and back office. As for asset class, no preference really at the moment, just want to gain more exposure.
1) Are there any recommended paths to start off? (what is a better junior role for fresh graduates to start off with?)
2) Will professional certifications help in Singapore?
- if yes, I noticed there are actually CTP(Certified Treasury Professionals) and MCT (from ACT, Association of Corporate Treasurers). What are the differences?
I welcome any advices, but please be specific to the situation in current jobs market in Singapore as much as you can. Thank you in advanced.

Hopeful
Hi, bumping this thread
Anyone knows whether the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or ACT's Certificate in International Treasury Management is a better choice in Singapore?
Or both are not really that relevant/important in Singapore's context?
Thanks
