all this just show that the rank title have totally no relation to pay. i see many companies have project manager make >15k and now i hear that a vice president in a bank cannot even reach 10k!?

Can't speak for Group.
But for Capital, unless you are at the bottom of the range, you will be drawing >10k.

Are you referring to AVP or VP? If it's AVP, i don't think everyone makes more than 10k. Only the front office guys and maybe some middle office personnel.

I agree that was a response for the question on VPs. In fact, I doubt any VPs (back or front office) earn less than 10k after including their transport allowance.
As for AVPs, it varies from 6k to 16k. Depending on role and experience. I say the median salary for AVPs is around 8k back office AVPs. Not so sure on mid and front office.

Deutsche bank AVP is 9-10k for BO and 13-16k for FO.

The AVP salaries look low. From the discussion above, shouldn't Barcap AVPs be getting 10k a month? And with bonuses, it will definitely be above $130k-$140k right?
