This is a good question. What you you guys do while waiting for calls or replies? How do you know if you are falling into depression?

Of course, do apply in jobs that you are qualified for or at least have an interest in (to broaden your choices). Please do not send 1 resume a day or none at all just waiting for your preferred job. This is because when you are unemployed for very long (>3 months to 6 months), it will be tougher for you to get short-listed for interviews, unless you are applying for lower requirements or non-skill jobs.
Where do you send your resumes to? Online like JobsDB and JobsStreet? Do you use the new JobsBank? Do you also check Saturday/Sunday's newspaper classified pages?

in my first official full time job for 3 mths now. drawing an above average salary for diploma grads (got increment after probation).
but i am looking to leave (superiors all satisfied with my performance but the working environment sucks and i am not happy at all)

question is.. what are the chances that i get the same salary on my 2nd job?
actually i dont mind getting a little pay cut in exchange for a better environment. i am only going to tender after i get a job but how to find excuses to take leave for interviews?

Should not be a problem to get same pay, provided you are doing the same job scope.

Need a reason for new coy on why you are leaving.
Giving reason like working environment sucks will not work.
Take MC instead, easier.

actually some companies are also willing to conduct interviews after office hours, especially if they know you are currently employed. Just try asking the HR about the possibility of scheduling an interview after work.

Hi, I only use Jobsdb and jobstreet. Jobsbank as well, without much success. Sometimes, I use Saturday's recruit section as well, but mostly they require much working exp (min 3 years), which isn't too helpful to me.

Hi, I know how it feels. Just keep sending resume, don't just wait for calls. Meanwhile, do what you usually will do during your spare time.

But i only have this 3 mths of experience leh. And my salary is above average. I talked to an agent and She told me it's difficult.

Thing is, this job is not as advertised. I feel cheated. Somemore the hr and director refuses to let my superior to sit in for the interview because the previous few all reject offer cos of him. Nb, they know he got problem then don't let him sit in. Feel so cheated.
