I have a got a new job and company wants to do background and employment check and all. Previous work history was at a call center that I only worked for a week and call it quits. However, I did not put in my resume. I am feeling scared that they might find out and it might affect my current job offer. Has anyone experienced like this? If so, what was the scenario?

through trial n error, i had to ask for $800 less from my last drawn full-time salary b4 employers would even grant me interviews.

my last drawn was close to mid-3k per month. im in my mid-30s and local diploma holder here.

sent close to 60 to 70 job applications and landed with 4 to 5 interviews.

fingers crossed, i hope i can land a full-time job b4 christmas.

I am surprised there are still 60 to 70 job openings in this bad economy. Are these openings from the same industry or various industry ?

I'm same poster from #2574. It depends on your current n last job's role. I would say stuff like operations / admin have more openings. It can be from various industries such as govt n private sector.

So simple go pray that your parents die early. Get a good sum of inheritance and invest them. For the rest of your life no more burden of caring for parents. Plus got good money to enjoy all your life. Then no need work and no need scared jobless.
