Feeling so disgusted with some of the comments advising people to go to bed with hiring managers and asking in details what they do in bed. This is a forum whereby people come in and chat about professional work. Not sure if there are moderators but it is so sad that this forum has become such an unhealthy environment.

I wanted to share that if you're finding yourself in need of a job, wanting to earn some savings for yourself, it's okay to start small. Part-time, casual..something that you think you'd like to do. Few hours a day. Few days a week.
Smile to yourself, apply for it. If it fails, nevermind, try again.
I know it's hard to get used to the change when you've been jobless for a long time, everything feels telling you to give up like it did to me.
Don't rely solely on job portals.
If there's a job you want to try, write in to the career section of the place.
There are other options like flyer postings on retail glass windows, a temp job for some immediate cashflow. With that income, you can slowly ease in towards a perm/full time.
Just some things I've been thinking about for the past weeks as I work towards landing an interview for a full time.

I would recommend to walk into small shops and ask them need temp hours staff or not. Alternatively job posting with the word temp in it. Those are usually short time hourly pay.

Lol this forum is full of trolls. That's what happens when you can just post any random **** anonymously and not get banned. There are no moderators. Or I've yet to see any. I doubt half the salaries here are even real. This particular thread is still not so bad. You should see some of the other threads. Occasionally you get some genuine advice, but it's largely just a pissing contest

Ya, just look at the SIM-UOL starting pay tread, so many people are just wacking each other inside.

You can wear a blouse. If you scare the weather is too hot, wear a sleeveless top and bring a light blazer with you for the interview. Jacket.. I assume you meant blazer.
