Share your experience with the officer who will give you advice.

9 months is long. Another 3 more months it will be 1 year jobless.

Dont look good. Now is to try all sort of job. Otherwise very difficult to tell others why you jobless so long.

There's no reason not to disclose it if failed clearance is the reason.
It is after all a legitimate reason that they don't need to hide.
Also, I have worked in another stat board in 2020, and the role I applied for this time round is a junior role.

But the fact that the stat board chose not to disclose to the recruiter, plus the recruiter's past understanding of the stat board's hiring patterns, highly suggest that internal transfer is at play, and hiring managers are 'guilty' of allowing proposed internal transfer take precedence.

Very often, the question is:

Does the applicant need to know?

If not, then no need to disclose.

The internal transfer is possible but a bit far fetched.

How is that a show off. No stable income, high risk with no guaranteed returns. It's a gamble.
