hey just want to let you know you are not alone. I'm a fresh grad too, if you read my earlier posts, i've been to around 10 interviews since last year nov and am still jobless. it's not easy to keep going after so many rejections but you can see each interview as a lesson. not exactly in a qualified position to share my experiences but just do the necessary before every interview and try your best!

anyways what industry are you applying for?

p.s. i'm finding support through online platforms too as idw to rant to my friends/family all the time

ah thanks.. I hope you are not dejected.. im applying to supply chain positions, but from an arts degree with no honors. I found it hard to reply to their question of "why do you want to switch to something different from what you have studied?". Sometimes even feel like they just ask me down for the interview just to hear my answer

i do get depressed and dejected especially after being ghosted by interviews that i thought went really well. for that, i give myself 1-2days to recover from it and continue trying. it's very important to maintain optimistic as employers absolutely will not want to hire a negative person.

oh wow i'm actually of a similar background to you haha, for that question, you can perhaps show your interest in supply chain and talk about the company's development in the industry. Do you have internship or temp roles in supply chain or took related modules/projects before? If you do, can share about it during the interview too. On a positive note, the fact that you're getting interviews shows they see the potential in you, hiring manager doesn't have all the time to call down every single candidate.

it would be a lie to say that i'm not dejected. but after going to so many interviews, i learned to see rejections as a way to improve myself and be more prepared for the future interviews.

oh i see we actually have similar education backgrounds, for that question, you can show your interest in supply chain and share your knowledge on the company's development in the industry. have you had internships/temp roles or even took modules/projects related to the industry? if you have, you could share a little of that too.

don't see it that way, the fact that you're being called down for interview shows that you have potential and are under consideration. the hiring managers/hr don't have time to call down every candidate that applied for the job, so that's a positive sign.
