Just tell them the truth. Nothing wrong with taking couple of years to take care of kids. Unless the employers are discriminating candidates with family, which I believe is really unreasonable.

Just say the truth and be honest. Nothing wrong with prioritizing family over work. If the company discriminates you due to this, then it should not be a company you want to join if you have family. Right?

Mid 30s.. i know 2 months is quite short but with few openings that are suitable and even fewer calls and with even fewer interviews, it is just so discouraging.. praying that things get better for me soon...

Ya but it’s really tough to go back to the workforce..really need to cross the interview hurdle.
