Why cannot vent and share my story in forum ? Isn't everyone also do that ? Everyone is Anonymous so cannot vent ah ?
Who are you to say anyone wants to vent and share has to think what is the point of doing so ? What is there to think about ?

If you continue your blame every one but yourself mentality, you will go nowhere. Such attitude deserve very low positions in an org. The advice to you in previous post was to go the extra lengths to find out the purpose why your boss tell you to pass documents to translator. Even if its a simple offic boy task, if you can prove otherwise your "added value" by vetting documents and ensuring translator received your documents, with added confirmation by email, I am sure your boss will be impressed to trust you with bigger things.
At the end of the day, your boss got an intern to check on translator office. Thats a very "lao kui" move on you. Maybe you are not sensitive enough to catch that. But from the way you described, I think you should not stay long in your company, your fate is sealed. Better to start anew eslewhere, and this time, change your work attitude. Esle history repeats itself.

How to best address this employment gap in the resume or cover letter? Add an "Hobbies and Interests" section to highlight how I spent my 1 year? Add a paragraph in cover letter explaining why I spent 1 year thinking through my options?

How old are you now? If you are over 50 like me, there isn't any good options left except to look for lower paying jobs.
For the gap just leave it on your cv, when asked by interviewer just tell the truth
