Reputable UK VS Local University | Bonded scholarship, or not?
Hi all,
1. Would like to get some feedback with regards to the importance of where one had graduated from for university education.
To set the context,
Local Universities: i.e. NUS, NTU, SMU
UK Overseas Universities: i.e. LSE, UCL, King's
2. Is it worthwhile in terms of immediate and future opportunity costs in getting bonded to a company for 6 years for an opportunity to study overseas?
Looking at studying Economics in the UK, with a scholarship from SIA/ EDB.
All valuable feedback are appreciated!

It depends on the economy. But generally it's best not to get yourself bonded.
