Anyway, it's more like slightly above entry level. So back to the critical question, though I have 2 years' relevant experience, how much should I be asking?? I just have no idea of the pay scale.

Just for reference according to a source, LTA pays about $5000-$5900k for experienced Managers (Degree holder).

What about the salary of entry level positions and those with a few years of experience?

Thanks for the reply.
Any idea how fresh applications will be considered while an earlier one is being processed for a long time?

from my exp, if it has been processing for a long time then probably you didnt get the job. if they want you they will contact you within 2 weeks after your submission. this is what happened to me.

it depends on how long you have waited after 1st interview. approx within 2 weeks i was offer a 2nd interview and the next day i know the result of my interview already. i've digged other posts discussed over here and realise that approx 2-3 weeks you should get a reply, if not possibly you didnt get selected. if you have failed/ not selected after the 1st interview, and if you appply the same one again, they might not process it. however like maybe another year or so later you apply, they probably will process it again if your exp is what they found suitable.

I was asked to fill in the application form with expected salary only after the 1st interview. i also wasnt asked about salary during my 1st interview. I dont really think salary is the main issue because afterall salary is nego unless you state you arent open to nego. When i applied LTA after i obtained a deg, i was rejected for all position even thou i have 4 years exp. then i realise that it is because im not from nus or ntu even thou i graduated from a prestigious uk uni (not from sim) with hons. then i went to work for another year plus at a GLC then got this LTA interview. I have a new grad from ntu with no exp and 2nd lower deg got an offered for a job they posted that need minimum 5 years exp when obvious he didnt. i applied the same position as him when i have 5 years relevant exp now but wasnt even given an interview chance..so i can say is the "local grad" that matter.

"Local grad" does seem to have the say. Just curious who made the cut. 1st interview was just with the team leader & member of a higher position with whom the candidate would be working. Anyway, some things are just meant to remain a sheer myth
