Sales Manager - Beauty/FMCG
Dear all,
I had been offered a job based from the above and Im not sure if I should neg on my salary package. Just checking on the range that a Sales Manager of such industry should be getting. Also, will this job be getting any bonus? Hows the bonus payout in such industry?
Anyway, I am:
- Degree Holder in Mgt
- 4 years in Retail Sales/ Corporate Sales
- 2 years in Civil Service (current)
Going back to Pte Sector because Civil Service pay increment is too less and slow. And this is my first time going into Beauty/ FMCG and the Co is reputable and growing strong.

You need to provide more info because sales is famous for giving fake titles. A "manager" can be anything from 2k to 25k
eg. how many salesman you have under your team? what is the revenue you are responsible for? how many SKUs? what sort of channels? key accounts?

When you say the 20 counter consultants report to you means you decide their pay, promotion, hire / fire & have their turnover & SKU volumes rolled up to your profit center?
Do you just do Sales or handle other aspects like Trade Marketing? What is your annual turnover KPI in $$$? Is this a local role or includes other countries?
The most critical input you must give is the turnover$$$. There is a big difference between a $2M t/o and $20M t/o sales manager.
