I would even go so far as to say that for the same jobscope, one person could be two ranks higher than another person.

Reason for being a big range is because not everyone's base is different, age also different, years of experiences also different.

So yes, the range you could look at is $8.5k to $12k , unless you can be more specific with age and years of relevant experiences, this could narrow down the range to a smaller one of up to $1.5k. sorry to repeat but, may I know how much a directors pay range is in MAS and what grade this roughly corresponds to?

Tried applying to supervision roles in MAS since late April but until now still no interview. Not sure how long it takes to get interview. Quite a number of my application status are In Process.

Grade 6, 20-24k base

MAS seems to have frozen overall headcount. Many of the "newer" positions are tech or green related. Jobs vacancies are mostly contract under sg united. Not sure if a DD in MAS earns comfortably over 8.5k but it sounds a bit on the high side.

There is no significant pay bump from G13 associate to G12 AD - you will get the standard 200 odd increment.

MAS seems to have issues keeping staff more than 3 years, esp below DD level.

Generally, DDs need at least 8 full years working exp though i think the norm is 10 years working exp for a so so performer.

It's not so much that headcount has been "frozen" but that people are generally not leaving their jobs during this COVID period. Not just in MAS. The economy is also not expanding as fast.

Thanks all for sharing! Very informative. May I ask normally how long will MAS get back to you? Ha e been waiting for 3 weeks after 2nd interview (left 1 more I believe) but no reply and the portal says I'm still in the shortlist!

At most 2 weeks I think. Can call HR to check?
