Fresh grad to work overseas

Is it wise for fresh grad to start his first job overseas? I have heard stories of people not being able to find a job in Sg after they have worked overseas. They are stuck in foreign land. Please advice.

Finding a job in sg won't be a problem.

But finding a job that pays similar to first-world countries will be tough.

For example,

my first job after graduation overseas paid USD$6300.

I left my job because I wanted to come home. Could only find a SGD$4100/mth job.

I am being offered a place in China. SGD 3k per month, and there is a 2 year bond to it. I am afraid after serving the 2 years, I will not have many exit opportunities

why not? i thought this is an excellent job opportunity.

having lived and worked in china will also help boost your career in whatever field you are in.

don't worry. you will be fine. 3k is not a lot of money. you will def be able to find a comparable opportunity in singapore.

I say go for it! Good to live and work abroad when you are young and dont have commitments.
