Jobs in sport industry
Hi can anyone give a lil advice?
I am currently studying in Exercise and Sport Science degree from ECU. I'm kinda worried as i search the net for jobs. When comparing Sport professional job in SG to other countries (e.g. UK, Aus), the opportunities seems to be so lil.
Im really worried. Can anyone give some advice?
Or also, the pay range of the job

Just my personal observation -- jobs in sports science are few and far between.
Possible jobs include PE teacher, gym trainer, assistant to sports doctors and therapists.
Why did you choose sport science in the first place?

i like sports and it excites me to learn more about the human body. Be it physiology, anatomy, biomechanics and more.
Since i had sport dip i might as well continue. Dont know if i made the right choice. Firstly, i have the passion. However, when it come to reality, money is important too.
Hence, money vs passion. i guess money wins the first half now.

Only with money then you can pursue your passion.

Yes, i agree with you. Hence, should i consider working in other countries?
However, this comes to a point where i need to leave my family and get out to work.
This is usually the hardest part.
Anyone one knows how much a fresh grad can get for exercise and sport science degree?

Have you ever worked before?
No offence, but your question seems quite amatuerish. Pay is dependent on what job, industry and company you take up, there is no such thing as standard pay for sports degree.
How about you tell us which job you want to take up & with what sort of company exactly?

hmmm, i guess not the field of exercise and sport science. I just got out of army and am doing the degree now.
So pardon me for sounding like an amatuer. I'm just lost and worried.
I would love to work in a clinical setting. Helping out people with physical needs (sport per se).
No company in particular but would like give it back to the society.
