I dun really think job scope plays a part in the salary package. Only the total time involved in these jobs that plays a part. Would you get paid 1000 to sweep the floor? easy job. I will always find the one that pays best total ($$/hr) regardless of job scope, unless its totally off my caliber.

I have worked as senior accounts assistant for 11 years. My highest qualification is diploma/acca level 2. Recently just promoted from $2800 to $3000. Do you think I'm grossly underpaid here?

Don't waste time.. In singapore, a degree is worth more than experience.. I'm surprise after working 11 long years you had been contented drawing so low salary... Just go and get your degree immediately... With more than 10years experience and the paper qualifications.. you can easily double your pay for your next job hop...

I have obtained a degree from Oxford Brooke after completing acca level 2. Really regret taking acca; so difficult to pass the papers and I ended up stopping at level 2. At least other private degrees are more valuable than the one from Oxford Brookes.
