Local sg and local uni graduate here
Work for 10 years in current company
Wan to try public sectors but no news for the applications.
A bit of disability.
Should I give up as I have been trying for 2 years?
Any advice?

On average how many months does it take? Trying to decide if it's worth the wait since the time spent waiting could have accepted other offers and started working there.

from one of the private unis in SIM. just graduated mid last year, started a job @ 3.5 before cpf. below 3 really is damn low. I'm not in a tech role, and am doing an office job in the public sector.
also: local degree is only important to public sector + local companies. MNCs are ok with both private unis (from overseas unis) and local unis. you honestly think some angmoh is gonna prefer a kid from ntu over a kid from uol?

Hi, can new singapore citizens work as a civil servant?
My friend got rejected during background check because he was not born in singapore though he's a singapore citizen now. What about those born in singapore and became a singapore citizen later on?
