Emailed a stat board after 2.5 weeks from my first interview and they replied to say they are still assessing other candidates and will let me know the status of my application soon.
I know this means i am not first choice but does it mean i still have a slight chance? Anyone in this situation before?

Might simply mean that there were a handful who made it passed first round. Typically they will seek to speak to everybody who passed before making a decision. Sometimes due to issues like some candidates have to postpone due to reservist, they will take longer.

got shortlisted for a stat board job however as the job is something really new to me, i actually didn't have much to say in the video interview. I felt that I have do really bad for the interview partly I was really nervous. I couldnt answer the interview question properly Will I be blacklisted or affect my other job applications in other ministry or stat board?
Im very nervous when I am practically just recording myself and not face to face.

Unlikely. From own observation, at least 10 years.
