Civil Svc/ Statboard - Typical Timeline for making a Hiring Decision

Hi everybody.

Does anyone here have an idea of the salary range for Grade 7 in LTA?

And what is grade 7 equivalent to comparing to MX scheme.

Does internal referral in ministries help to open the door for an interview? i.e. a friend working in the same dept passing to word to his boss who is the hiring manager.

This week the 4th week I submitted due diligence for reference check and G50 form.
The waiting is really make me worry as more other jobs interviews starts kicking in.
Some are aggressive. Just hope the result from govtech come quickly.

Can check out with you on the current market situation?

Currently in Stat board and was offered another position in another stat board.
Finally after the interviews & tests, was given the offer but its only 4% increment from my current basic pay.

Can any bros who are looking out verify that the 4% is the current norm ? in IT Sector, ICT jobs.

may i ask how long did you wait for your second interview after the first interview? im already on the 6th week.. the wait is extremely torturing

Hi, can i check if anyone apply to HTX and what is the timeline?

I applied for a position in first week of July, status changed to "In process" within a week, and change to "Shortlisted" in second week of Aug after the position closed. So far have not gotten any calls or emails from HR though, so wondering if somehow they clicked "Shortlisted" wrongly...

My timeline, applied for a post in a Min through referral. Quite a long process.

Dec: Send resume
Early Feb: 1st casual chat session
Mid Feb: Online test
Early Mar: 2nd casual chat session
Mid Mar to May: Final interview and sending of G50 form and required forms
Early Jun: Email me back asking whether I'm still interested
Late Jun: Accepted offer

Starting work in Sep as I'm finishing my current contract.

May - applied online
Jul - called for 1st interview but was postponed
Early August - informal interview
Early August - C@G status changed to unsuccessful, emailed hr and was told it was a glitch
Mid August - HR called to invite me for 2nd interview and submit some forms
End August - 2nd interview
