Does anyone know if MSF will update the status on the portal/send you a rejection email if you're not selected for the position?

Final Interview
Hi guys, anyone knows how a final interview will be like? I went for ‘2’ casual chats with some of the interviewers, the first one being with the HR and TL I presume and the second with the unit members. Was quite surprised to be given a final interview as they said the first 2 ‘casual’ chats were not interviews and they told me to fill up the G50 form and credit report and pass it to them on the day of the final interview, does it mean I’m confirmed getting the job? Am quite nervous for the interview so hopefully everything goes well.

May I ask, how long did it take for you to be shortlisted for the interview.

It means that you are most likely selected for the job already. You are going to meet the director / senior management at the "final interview" as part of formality and they are unlikely to veto the team lead's decision as long as you don't say anything extreme.
Treat it as a formal introduction to your future boss' boss. Be confident. Act/speak as though you are already part of the team. Mention names and things that you discussed at the previous two interviews. Give your opinions and say something "strategic". Remember, first impression counts!

Jiayou everyone!!

Congrats, hope you are enjoying your work in the new stat board!
May I know if you applied for a similar/same job scope in another stat board? Do you mind sharing the name of the stat board (either one or both)?

You will be meeting the director / senior management at this "final interview". They are unlikely to veto the team leader's decision unless you say/do something ridiculously stupid.
Treat it as a formal introduction to your future boss' boss/es. Be confident. Smile. Act as though you are already part of the team. Mention the names of your team lead/members, and bring up some of the things that you guys discussed at the previous two interviews. Give your opinions (on issues related to the job scope) and say something "strategic". You want to be memorable and leave a good first impression to your future boss' bosses.

hey, could you update whether you secure the position after the final interview? i'm in a similar position, met with the hiring dept and was told it was a casual interview. subsequently, the boss of the department told me to wait for the final interview with the hr dept. I'm also quite nervous for it as he phrases such that the final interview would be intimidating, and even guided me on how to better refine my answers.

IRAS written offer
Hello all, may I ask about how long does IRAS typically take to send out a written offer/contract? I received a verbal offer 1 week ago, but I have yet to receive a written offer as of now. Not sure if I should just wait or if I can email HR about it. Thank you!
