As for other organisations knowing about your interviews.. I'm not sure how things work but highly unlikely there will be so unethical and reject immediately...
I think the sequence u mentioned is correct. application (submitted/in progress) -> interview (shortlisted) -> reference check/clearance/medical -> letter of appt/offer. Somehow medical check depends on organisation. The one I went included pre employment medical check as part of the recruitment process. I have not gotten any offer... Just hope I pass through the stages and get the job offer.

Thank for your fast reply. I also hope I can pass through the stages. Hopefully can get an offer soon.

I called the HR last week to enquire about the interview results. HR say I will know by this week. Until now, I have not received any calls. So does it mean I am not shortlisted?

hmmm not sure if it means they are still in the midst of processing your application (checks required for ministry jobs). maybe u can call/ email HR again. but i think its quite common for ministry jobs to be still awaiting results one month after interview...

Thanks for your reply. I just take it as I'm not shortlisted.

I also just called the HR after 2 weeks and the person told me the results will only be known maybe later this week and next week. But i have no idea why the checks can take so long. Maybe the HR is compiling those shortlisted and rejected and release all at the same time.

Hi all, i went for an interview last week , no news till now and there's similar ads posted in career@gov with new deadline today. However, I did call yesterday and the hr said the results not yet finalized. I feel worried. Does that I mean I failed the interview?

The new ads generated could be auto generated. Since the HR said results not finalised yet, means that they are still processing so u just gotta wait.

I hope so. As it's already been more than one week . This is the only positive I can think of. My mind keep telling me to be remain positive , but the ad just came at the wrong time.
