don't put all eggs into 1 basket
continue to apply in the meantime

hi if i am from statboard and going to another statboard, how long is the HR hiring process if hiring manager already accepted me? Do i need to go through the lengthy clearance again?

both SBs are with same parent ministry?
any interim window to wait b4 your new SB can take u in ie your old SB need time to find replacement either internally or externally?

different parent ministry. just the usual notice period and will not be asking for transfer of service but rather outright quit current statboard and go over to new statboard.

if u opt to join new ministry in such mode, your previous years of service counted or no count?

nope. also doesnt matter to me. not that entirely long and not much benefits. and if i were to transfer with service in tact it will take very long. just want to silent quit current organisation

ya heard of that long wait when staff opt to do transfer of service

but for the path u choose ie resign outright then move over, security clearance by new side also took shorter time or just as long clearance time?

Ministry doing background checks will also take some time especially during year end
Likely they could also find out abt u having a start-date with Agency X
then u may need to let them know why

Worse thing that can happen is buang both Ministry (at background checks phase) and Agency X (they can retract)
