Why nowadays so many govt jobs have this qn: ['<For male applicants only> Please indicate if you have received a 2-month reduction in your NS liability due to your being fit']?

not even a physical job. discriminating against PTP batches much? back then half the people there were in because we couldn't pass the jumping SBJ station only

When there are too many applicants, how do you differentiate them?

Height? Weight? BMI?

People who more fit vs the unfit.

is it red flags if hr get back to you within a few days after the interview?

given current hiring sentiments these days, i would be super happy if they reach back to me to say they wan to proceed with the application instead of being left in the dark aka wait until cows come home

Applied SB end Oct
First interview first week of Nov
Second interview scheduled just 3 days later to third week of Nov
HR said to wait 1 to 2 weeks for result

But less than 24 hours of 2nd interview, I saw job ad reposted?? Means reject? It still shows as in process online
