hmm...I went for interview in Feb, received verbally offer in early May, then no updates, sent them a reminder for updates, replied me to wait, they will process, should I continue to wait? Not sure what is taking them so...long. Should I take it if they come back to me or just move on to other offer?

Yeah, I provided medical questionnaire, supporting docs & reference check. Actually, I didn't want to drop them chasers but no choice because my fam kept asking me. HR said they will get back to me by the end of the week repetitively. I think they are discussing the headcount but again, this is my speculation only.

Omg this is so long. I think they are likely to discuss the headcount. Is there any deadline for your other offer?

thats mean u r more or less at the security clearance stage.
if they discover unfavourable stuff abt u, they are then more than justified to reject
(of course when they notify, they won't tell u explicitly tt u got **** being dug up...but more or less the rejection has to do with the G50?)

why your fam kaypoh ardaji
is u apply for job or your boomer parents apply job?
mai kaypoh mah
let them screen proper
and all conveniently forget now still June holiday
ppl might be on leave and not 24/7 by their WOG laptop answer mah

when their last reply came?

so long as no formal offer came, don't assume will get.
continue to apply other places but check the pace lor

in the meantime, base on your reply for sentence 1, check bck with their HR POC say once every fortnight or so to pace yourself

I rephrase my early broken England to proper England.

Waiting is quite challenging. All my tests and interviews were completed on 6th June. HR informed me that they are in the process of completing the administrative procedures. I hope everything goes well and that I will receive a positive response and an offer soon. Thank you
