If you went for interview already, they will tell you the results (whether rejected or accepted) most of the time.

If only just applied, sometimes they will just ignore your initial application, and wait until very long to receive the rejection email from system

I have not been accepted before. Usually the rejections after interview that I get are at least 4 weeks onwards. Some of my peers are able to get accepted after interview as fast as 1-2 weeks, and some as slow as a few months

ahh thanks so much for sharing! this is my first time applying, am a lil shocked by the Long waiting time as always been in private/MNCs where it’s significantly faster.

The portion on why you want to join the public sector, how long do you guys write? HR got read this?

Everyone writes the same garbage which is basically 'its covid, i need a job until this is over and i jump ship to private sector'

Does any one know by currently having public service experience will help to secure another relevant role in another ministry or statboard more easily?

Do HR take in consideration of this?

Obvioisly lah. Can dont be such a stupiak park and ask such question? You telling me next employer wont ask abt ur previous public sector experience?
A lot of pple here now jobless so can you pls dont ask questions which obviously gives you an added advantage

Those with ns, if you are not command school, would your app be disadvantaged?

LOL You guys realise that the govt job application at Careers Gov no longer put the current monthly or expected pay??
