Hi, may I know when was the last contact from HR ? Also may I know which stage you are currently in ? (Pending administrative clearance/ security clearance / medical check , etc)

HR emailed me a couple of times to inform me they are still processing. Last contact was 2 weeks ago haha. Currently pending clearance and management approval, supposedly. What about you?

I did not receive any email from HR.... last call from them was on early Aug regarding clearance and administrative follow up did receive a mail from vital for medical check though last week. Really hope to hear from them soon ...

Need advice, i have resigned from my work at ministry, last day 5 sep.. and supposedly start work with my new job at private sector on 7 sep.. on 7 sep itself i have a 2nd interview with a ministry.. question is, during the 2nd interview, what reason should i tell them given that i am just 1 day in my new job..

Hi all, took awhile to read the full thread with regards to the timeline with ministry and SB

Here is my timeline with a SB

1. Applied on the last week of June 2018
2. Was invited for 1st informal interview on the second week of July 2018
3. Was shortlisted for the 2nd interview 1 month later with the directors and HR on the second week of August 2018
4. Verbal offer on the 3rd week of August 2018, HR requested for employment reference check, salary package not ready
5. Requested for updates from HR, was told that will contact me again when salary package is approved

Just wondering, how long would it roughly take from the verbal offer till the contract signing?

Hi! I have a question for the HR folks here. For job applications on C@G, does HR usually wait for the application deadline to close then start processing/shortlisting, or once a candidate submits their application, they'll already start processing?

Same here. Received verbal offer an email stating that they are doing reference checks now and waiting for approval. Any idea how long does this take?
