does anyone know whether NEA hire fresh hire for 1 year contract (this also counts as probation), thereafter convert to perm?

is it true that at first it’s a 1 year contract? what are the odds that they won’t convert u to perm staff and ur contract ends..

what makes u think the conversion is auto?

if the dept/division no head count, they can make u redundant aft 1 year

Yes not auto one. I'm leaving public sector for good also because somehow both headcount got taken. Don't know how it become like this also -_-
