Civil Svc/ Statboard - Typical Timeline for making a Hiring Decision

Hi all,

It's been almost 3 weeks since I submitted my reference check consent form for a position at LTA. In the email that requested the form, the HR told me the application status would be updated within 2-3 weeks time. I just sent an email earlier this week requesting for more updates, but there wasn't any response from the HR.

Can I take it as a rejection? or do I need to wait a bit longer?

what is the role u are applying?

Hi everyone, i submitted all the required documents as requested by HR, and given verbal offer but no salary package yet. Will HR back out last minute or ghost me?

how long ago were u given verbal offer?

does a cover letter increases chance of getting an interview? i've applied for a few positions with resume only and I have not gotten any interviews.

Hi anyone know MFA pay and yearly increment? Heard fresh grad 5k? How long does it take to hit 10k pm?

i am a fresh grad with 5450. All my colleagues hit 8k within 4 years. HR say we can hit 10k per month before age of 35

Do public service do reference or background checks after signing the contract?

May I ask, you joined as a fresh grad at 5.4 or after 1yr then adjustment?
