Hi, wondering if anyone knows what it means when hr says they're doing "backend processing" and will update soon. Was given verbal offer two weeks after interview, and security clearance has been ongoing for 2 months already...i'm wondering if it's because i might not be their first-choice candidate or if it's simply because covid has delayed the processes. this is for a policy role in a social ministry.

Hi
I was offered in Feb and recently got called for signing. Be prepared to wait super long Coz of covid. If verbal offer is given most likely u will get the job. Don't worry.

not compulsory. But of course the hardworking ones will include a cover letter and that may give them an edge over you. So it boils down to how much you want the job

Hi there! Was wondering if you have checked with HR on the progress?
I've been waiting a month since the verbal offer and not heard anything.

It shouldn't affect anything unless your illness will affect your ability to do the job well. I think main purpose of the pre-employment checkup for most of us is for the group insurance.

Increment
Anyone can advise if we move from a stat board to another statboard, what amount of increment can we expect as a fresh hire? If its movement policy, will there be any increment?
