Not sure for Govt, but for private sector, average worker take about 5-10 years to double their salary.
10-15 years to tripple your salary (assuming from mx 13 3k pay) seems reasonable.

Saw in this thread 2015 someone stated senior pe engineer after 25 years of service will be earning 15k pm not including bonus.... how true? Or how possible ?

I'm fresh grad comp Sci tech job already earning 10k 1 year in.
Quite sad 25 years only reach 15k

The hierarchy seems to be
Executive (2 years) -> Lead (2 years) -> Manager (2 years) -> Senior Manager (2 years) -> Assistant Director -> Deputy Director?
Anyone able to shed light on the corresponding monthly salary (16 months) and the time to clock for each step?

IIRC, there is also a specialist path for procurement.
