I think that female has dominant accounting field in Workplace.
Men seldom choose accounting anymore but Engineering or Computer science. Isnt it?

I think he meant to say that accounting field is generally female dominant, and he's asking if that's true. lol

Generally yes for junior positions such as accounts assistants/officers/executive, accountants, etc

For finance managers,financial controllers, finance directors /VP/CFO, then that is not true.

Will it be bad for guys work as Accountant now? It seem surround by a bunch of girls. LOL.

I think it has become a trend for women fill the accounting roles now. In the past, majority is male.

Very hard to give comments, since accounts is everywhere in every industry. If possible, getting figures from the polys, universities and ICPAS on the gender make-up of graduates and members will give you a better gauge.

Is ok, how about anyone working in big 4? majority is female or male?
