High bonus

Not sure about production, I'm from the KTT database centre, we dont have much contact with O&M side.

But whole of Keppel famous for low pay high bonus. They got offer you 3k? If have you consider lucky already, most grads go in at ~2.8k

So can I ask let say if I join Keppel Fels as an engineer as fresh grad , getting 3.2k starting,

then after 5 years, maybe with 1 promotion, by that time, what will be my basic salary then?

Went for interview recently at FELS...interviewer keep remind me of the long working hours and want me be sure the tough job ahead. He speak nicely. Saw a number of white attire FELS at lobby who are pretty young, under 30yrs old. I'm under 35. Although I not sure can tahan or not but I will like to try for at least 2 yrs or more if the satisfaction level is very high and bonus very good

I would suggest you think twice before jumping. They are well-known for low balling mid careers because of the so called high bonus and most O&M jobs are pretty physically demanding over long hours.

You are already mid 30s, why take on a job meant for youngsters who just start out their career? If you go in with a low pay of say 5k and stay for few years buay tahan, you will fall even further behind your peers.

By that time already late 30s & still stuck at a 5k+ job with all sorts of medical trouble due to hard labour, not a good way to build your career...

My current job may in 4 yrs time allow me reach 5K but the job is very demoralizing ...

May I know why you say so ? What background are you from ?

Current job give me medical problem too....high blood pressure and mental "disruption" when see and talk to my 'client' everytime go work......On the other hand, the hard labour will help me loss weight and gain muscle....of course need to take some tonic now and then to have good stamina. Believe has a great sense of satisfaction upon completed each project.....better than see the lazy face of my 'client' daily.

Maybe money not very critical now to me.....YOu live once.....
