Currently in one of the big HR consulting firms (consulting arm). Was wondering how long should I be staying in consulting. I am tempted to move out to corporate already, but wanted to get your opinions if the payoff for consulting will be worth it in the long run.

how many years have you been in consulting already? what is your current package and career goals?

Hi, just graduated from polytechnic, diploma with merit in events management. currently has placing in NTU business. Planning to major in human resource consulting. Eh, wish to apply for some scholarships with labor intensives companies such as natsteel or medical stat board, SGH .Keen interest in industries relations and corporate wellness management. Do your think this is a good prospect. thanks alot, needed advice!

Came in as fresh graduate analyst, promoted to a consultant sometime after 2+ years. Been with the company for slightly more than 3 years now. Majoring in the area of rewards, compensation and sales incentive consulting.
Career goal is to be a regional C&B specialist for the corporate sector.

Hi, does anyone know if non-compete/competition agreement clauses are common in Singapore employment contracts? and are they actually enforceable?
Do companies typically pursue ex-employees just because they leave for another company in the same sector? without causing any damaging action such as poaching other existing staff/customers etc

Does anyone know how much one should be remunerated for a Fresh Grad (non-local) for the Recruitment Consultant position in one of the bigger recruitment firms like Hays, Michael Page, Hudson, Robert Walters?
Have a 1st interview with one of the above tomorrow.
