For average performer if all your 10 years experience are relevant, should be VP level in banks or Snr Manager / Director in other companies. My best guess is 12k to 15k depending on industry.

What is your current position now?

Too high for an average performer. 8k max.

According to report here http://www.robertwalters.com.sg/file...urvey-2012.pdf

It says Training & Development (6 – 12 yrs exp) is 100k – 180k in 2012. So 10 years exp should be on the high side around 150 – 180k. Works out to be about 13k - 15k monthly.

8k is 96k annual, according to the report should be about 6 yrs exp.

You must have been reading too much Straits Times. Do you take such nonsense reports as the golden truth? If so, everyone will be installing golden taps by now.

Reminds me of an idiotic scholar colleague who bought shares based on reports he read. He lost his pants.

7 years experience in HR or total years of working? If its just 7 years of working since graduation, then wow your pay is really high!

I believe it is true but that annual figure includes bonuses as well. If there is a 6 mths bonus, then maybe the mthly pay is abt 8k/mth for that person with 150k annual package. As companies vary bonuses during bad times, that figure may be lower in bad times.

It also depends on the company u r joining. No way you can get that pay if u join an SME's HR department even with 10 yrs of exp.

The salary is based on placed candidates placed by robert Walters. Only base and no allowance/bonuses are included.

Guys..the figures quoted in the report is on the high side..take it with a pinch of salt and apply a discount to it..the figures given by them for financial sector positions such as RMs obviously included commission/bonuses..and not just the base salary as they purported.

The numbers are quite accurate. My wife has been in HR for 8 years since she graduate, she's taking back about 11.5k basic monthly.
