Can I verify the claim:
In the past, GEO3 officers can be appointed KP. But now we need to hit GEO4 before the sch can appoint 1 yr internal KP + KP interview, before appointment?
Is this true?

True. Minimum grade now is GEO4 to be a KP. But you do not necessarily need to be internal KP for 1 yr.

Internal appointments are ok to accept if you are a GEO3. If you do a decent job (or better), you stand a chance at a B or A grade.
But for GEO4 and 5, internal appointments are just cheap labour.

Would sending in resignation on first day of December be safe? I would still be in service on last day of December in this case.
Pls share your thoughts. TY!
