I don’t think teaching is relevant exp to become hod or principal unfortunately
Principal ish abt establishing a vision and set the environment for slave drive.
Being a teacher too long u become soft and too compassionate to teachers

The panel may ask you about what you have learnt from your internal appointment, but they will definitely also try to assess if you have a clear understanding of what your role is as a (confirmed) LH. I doubt they will grill you about theoretical knowledge on stuff like the LGM and SEM, but it helps to understand the key messages and broad ideas.

OP here. I know TGM and LSM .. what’s LGM and SEM? I’m so terrible with acronyms gosh. Should I ask my HOD about the specifics of LH duties? Or is there info on this online? I’ve only been informally briefed that it encompasses admin work like planning, exam-related etc. which is what I’ve been doing. 😅
How else can I prepare for it?

What you will find online is generic stuff. It's best to reach out to your HOD and other KPs to find out how things work in your school and your cluster. I don't think you can find generic descriptors about what a LH or SH is supposed to do, at least not in the generally accessible MOE Intranet, because every principal will deploy their LHs and SHs slightly differently. So contextual knowledge is more important than knowing textbook answers.
