no difference in pay, it depends on class of honours and whether served NS or prior work experience.

teachers in general are paid ok, wont be rich or poor. so join teaching if you are called or have the passion. according to moe webpage, fresh grad with no NS and pass degree get 3.1k.

however, did hear that it can be easier to promote in primary school. since there are 6 levels, pri 1-6, there are more opportunities to be assistant year head or year head of the different 6 levels.

I understand the mainstream employee in school are teachers. Any idea the salary of allied educator as compared to teachers of the same qualification? let say both joined as a degree holder. Will their pay be far apart if both progression is the same?

SH/LH is NOT a even a GEO5 responsibility, that’s why we are given responsibility allowance (RA) every year for taking on leadership role at a GEO level.

I would always have high respect for those people in education industries. i think this industry is kinda neglected and some aren't really being paid well.
